We've become good friends. I really respect him greatly. It's up to him what he wants to do with his life and beliefs. If he wants to know more about my beliefs, that's cool.

Here's the deal. Are they going to make us close our churches and pray in the dark corners of our basement, not to be seen or heard?
Isn't that close to what Jesus taught?
From Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25327006.post-17817213359857784472007-03-20T12:09:00.000-05:002007-03-20T12:09:00.000-05:00I also forgot to say that I'm applying to grad sch...I also forgot to say that I'm applying to grad school in physics and astronomy. I also have a Masters of Divinity. As a Christian, I just don't see any problems with having different points of view. I'm different in the fact that I happen to believe in an author behind the physics.

One last suggestion: reading through your blog on some of your experiences...sounds like you've gotten caught up with some fruit cakes "Christians." Don't let that make a bad impression on all Christians. Again please be OPEN-MINDED.

BTW, enjoyed looking at M51 and M101's H-2 regions this weekend with my Dobsonian.

clear skies,
MdsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25327006.post-30173560853456825352007-03-20T12:03:00.000-05:002007-03-20T12:03:00.000-05:00I am a Christian and an amateur astronomer. So, God created those coins. No need to worry about it. God must have had some purpose. Perhaps she has a sense of humor.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03934169832326108710noreply@blogger.com
